Ersadur Lötspitze i-Tool MK2 & Trace, THT-Spitze 1,2/2,4 mm - Ersa 0142YDLF1224

On multilayer through-hole work the heat ends up in the copper rather than in the joint. Touch only the pad with a flat tip and you wait for the lead to catch up. The THT shape with its 1.2 and 2.4 mm faces takes both at once, because the hollow ground hoof wraps the lead while still resting on the pad.

Application

Leaded components, pin headers and terminal blocks on multilayer boards, above all where inner layers pull heat away. Larger through-hole joints are covered by the 1.8 / 5.2 mm shape, flat pads by the chisel geometries in series 142.

Compatibility

For the i-Tool MK2 and the i-Tool TRACE and i-Con TRACE irons only. Series 142 does not fit the first generation i-Tool.
