Observing cell cultures from below in flasks, dishes or microtitre plates calls for working distance and a fluorescence excitation strong enough to reveal faint signals. The KERN OCM 166 delivers both: a 100 W HBO epi-fluorescence unit and an Abbe condenser (N.A. 0,3) with 72 mm working distance for brightfield, phase contrast and fluorescence.
