Description
When removing through-hole parts, the solder has to leave the hole completely, otherwise pads lift when the part is pulled. The ThermoDrive desoldering tip 1121-0342 surrounds the lead with a 1.02 mm (0.040 in) inside diameter, heats lead and barrel together, and the SX-70 vacuum clears the hole.
