Large copper areas and leaded parts with heavy pins draw a lot of heat away from the joint. PACE tip 1124-0048 is a single sided chisel with a 4.55 mm width that moves heat into the joint quickly through its large contact face. As a Tip-Heater Cartridge, the heater sits directly in the tip.
