Festo clamping cylinders of the CLR series are linear-swivel clamps that combine a linear stroke with a superimposed swivel movement. The range covers sizes 12 to 50 mm with strokes of 10 and 20 mm in right-hand (R), left-hand (L) and centre (G) swivel configurations. The CLR motion sequence allows collision-free tool entry: first swivelling into the clamping position, then linearly pressing down the workpiece. This makes CLR clamps suitable for direct integration into fixtures without separate lifting mechanisms.
The range contains 288 items and covers all common sizes in single and double-acting versions. Pneumatic connection is via standardised ports on the cylinder body.
