Pneumatic drives
Festo rodless cylinders of the DLGF series are pneumatic linear actuators without an extending piston rod, transferring force via a drive element directly to the carriage. The DLGF series (Ø 25 and 40 mm) is designed as a guided-rail linear actuator that combines pneumatic drive with an integrated linear guide. Standard strokes from 100 to 600 mm are available.
The G-variant (standard guide rail) and the KF-variant (short-force version) cover different force and stiffness requirements. The carriage directly accepts tools, grippers or workpiece carriers. Compared to rod-guided cylinders of the same overall length, the usable stroke is significantly longer, as no rod reserve is needed.

Typical applications: Linear transfer axes in handling and pick-and-place systems, gantry drives in confined spaces, feed axes in assembly and packaging machines, push axes for tool carriers in special-purpose machines, and all applications where a long stroke within a short overall length is required.
