Festo stopper cylinders DFSP and separating stops HPV/HPVS are components for controlled workpiece management in conveyor systems. Stopper cylinders block and release workpieces on conveyor belts or roller conveyors, while separating stops divide a continuous stream of parts and release them individually in a timed sequence. The DFSP series covers bore diameters of 16, 20 and 25 mm; the HPV separating stop series comes in three sizes (10, 14, 22 mm).
Stopper variants (S = single-acting, DF = double spring return) enable fail-safe stopping. The HPVS variants of the separating stops are designed for confined installation with side porting. Both product lines are suitable for direct installation in aluminium profile carriers (Bosch Rexroth, Item and others).

Typical applications: Workpiece control on roller and belt conveyors in assembly lines, buffer stoppers on transfer systems (Bosch Rexroth TS 2plus, TS 5), separation of small parts and workpiece carriers in clocked conveyor systems, and safeguarding of machining stations against uncontrolled workpiece inflow.
