Festo Classic covers the SMEO-4U series: legacy proximity switch types with 4 mm web mounting for use in existing installations that rely on this mounting form. The range includes eight types, including SMEO-4U-K-LED-24, SMEO-4U-K5-LED-24 and SMEO-4U-S-LED-24-B as well as SMTO-4U variants with M-connector. All types operate at 24 V DC and include an LED status indicator.
The CRSMEO-4-K-LED-24 variant is designed as a dual sensor for short cylinder strokes, with two switching points in a single unit. These Classic types are replacement parts for older Festo generations, ensuring backward compatibility without mechanical changes to the cylinder bracket.
