Sensors
Festo SIM series connecting cables are pre-assembled sensor connection cables for M8 and M12 connectors, enabling direct connection of proximity switches, pressure sensors and flow sensors to controllers and fieldbus couplers. The range covers M8 3-pin (straight and angled) and M12 3-, 4- and 5-pin in cable lengths from 2.5 to 10 m. Straight (GD) and angled (WD) connector versions are available for different installation situations.
The PUR cable sheath is resistant to oil and lubricants and suitable for continuous use in drag chains. SIM cables are passive (no electronics), making them universally compatible with all Festo sensors using the corresponding connection code.

Typical applications: Connection of SME/SMTO proximity switches to controller terminals, linking pressure and flow sensors to PLC input/output modules, drag-chain cabling in mobile handling axes, extensions for hard-to-access mounting locations, and field wiring in pneumatic control cabinets.
