Description
The FD 150/E is a compact precision lathe for face turning, longitudinal turning, boring, taper turning, parting off and drilling. A two-stage belt drive with additional electronic speed control reaches spindle speeds up to 5,000 rpm, so even the smallest parts are machined at the right cutting speed.
- Quiet DC special motor with two-stage belt drive for high pulling power at low speeds
- Machine bed with dovetail guides of continuous-cast aluminium, headstock and tailstock of die-cast aluminium
- Precision-bearing main spindle with continuous 8.5 mm bore and seat for standard ER 11 collets
- Main switch with emergency stop function and restart protection
- Handwheels with zero-adjustable scale ring (1 division = 0.05 mm, 1 revolution = 1 mm)
- Top slide swivels up to +/- 45° for taper turning
