On the Quick 3205, 150 W of heating power sit behind a front shell of only 140 x 111 mm. That surface carries the readout and the keys and is the part of the housing that suffers first from drops and from being pushed around the bench. Replacing it keeps the station in the fleet instead of writing it off.

Technical data

Application

The 3205 is used where lead free joints on large thermal masses call for high power. Front damage stops exactly those workplaces, which is why a spare shell on the shelf pays off.
