Shielded assemblies in mobile devices often leave only a narrow opening, and the joint behind it sits off to one side. The TSS08-J04 clears both obstacles at once, it is bent by 30 degrees and extended with a shank that stays slim throughout, and the needle measures 0.2 mm.

What the geometry does

• 30 degree bend combined with an extended shank makes laterally offset contacts behind an opening reachable.
• Uniformly slim version means the shank does not swell behind the needle, so it does not brush neighbouring parts.
• Needle point of 0.2 mm for individual pads, fine pitch pins and jumper wire.
• Tinned length of 4 mm carries the reservoir up the shank and serves several joints in sequence.
• Thermocouple in the tip is essential here, because a long slim needle holds little heat of its own.
• Chip with the stored calibration value returns the same process temperature after each tip change.

Application, scope of delivery and compatibility

Intended for repairs on smartphone and tablet boards under shielding frames, for contacts inside housing cut-outs, for test points between closely packed parts and for jumper wire on cramped boards.
