Solder wire feeder for 1 mm wire, ESD ground, with holder - Reeco RE-TD1

In one-handed soldering the second hand belongs to the component, not to the wire. The TD-1 feeds the set amount of solder, triggered from the switch on the handpiece or from an optional foot switch. The amount stays the same across the shift.

Speed and feed time are set separately so the solder volume matches the joint. The drive is built from metal, the spool sits on a bearing-supported base and pays out without snatching. An LED shows the operating state.

As standard the unit is set up for 1 mm wire, and depending on the version 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm are also available. The handpiece holder is specified by iron type when ordering. An ESD grounding connector is fitted, so the unit belongs on an EPA bench.
