Rework soldering tip slot for chip 0805 SMTC series 357 °C - Metcal SMTC-001

An 0805 chip resistor only comes off cleanly when both joints are molten at the same moment. This rework cartridge from the Metcal SMTC series puts a slot geometry over the part and works at a fixed tip temperature of 357 °C.
