Description
Temperature sensitive components do not tolerate an overheated tip. The SSC-639A cartridge of the SSC 600 series uses Metcal SmartHeat induction technology and holds the tip temperature constant at 357 °C, controlled by the Curie point of the heater layer instead of a sensor.
