On micro joints the guiding accuracy of the tip decides the result. The STTC-022 is a conical soldering cartridge with 0.4 mm diameter and a short 8.4 mm tip length, which makes it notably stiff and controlled. Heating is regulated by the Curie point of the alloy inside the cartridge body, so the 357 °C working temperature is fixed and needs no calibration.

Compatibility and scope of delivery
The cartridge runs on the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and therefore on the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. It is exchanged without tools while the unit stays powered. Delivery covers one single soldering cartridge without hand piece and without power unit.
