Soldering tip bevelled 30 degrees 1.78 mm STTC series - Metcal STTC-035

A bevelled tip holds a small solder reservoir in its face and releases it evenly while dragging. The STTC-035 is a soldering cartridge bevelled by 30 degrees with 1.78 mm tip width and 6.4 mm tip length. Heating is regulated by the Curie point of the alloy inside the cartridge body, so the 357 °C working temperature is fixed and needs no calibration.

Applications

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridge runs on the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and therefore on the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. It is exchanged without tools while the unit stays powered. Delivery covers one single soldering cartridge without hand piece and without power unit.
