Description
0402 chips and closely spaced IC leads do not forgive an oversized tip. The Metcal STTC-145 conical cartridge uses a 0.4 mm tip diameter with a 14.7 mm length at 412 °C, the smallest sensible contact face.

Compatibility and scope of delivery
The tip works with the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems and with the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E handpieces. In the STTC series the cartridge and the heater form one unit, so a tip change during production takes seconds and needs no tools. Scope of delivery: 1 soldering tip cartridge STTC-145.
