Soldering tweezer cartridges conical straight 0.4 x 19 mm PTTC 700 series - Metcal PTTC-701

In deep component fields reach is what counts: with 19 mm of tip length the straight conical PTTC-701 cartridge gets to leads between taller parts and keeps the heated area down to a 0.4 mm point.

Benefits

• Straight conical 0.4 mm tip for a tightly limited heated area
• Tip length of 19 mm for access between taller neighbouring parts
• Fixed tip temperature of 412 °C with no calibration
• PTTC 700 series quick change cartridge for the MX-PTZ tweezers
• Supplied as a pair, the keyway prevents misalignment during fitting

Applications

Removal and placement of chip resistors and capacitors, work on SOIC packages, rework on densely populated assemblies and repairs in laboratory, prototyping and small batch production.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridges fit the Metcal MX-PTZ handpiece only and therefore run on the MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. One pair of PTTC-701 cartridges is supplied, the tweezers themselves are not included.
