Soldering tweezer cartridges blade-shaped 2 x 1.1 mm PTTC 700 series - Metcal PTTC-703

As soon as the termination gets wider, the blade needs more contact area. With 2 x 1.1 mm the PTTC-703 cartridge offers a broader face than the PTTC-702 and heats larger chip parts in one pass.

Benefits

• Blade face of 2 x 1.1 mm for wider chip terminations
• Tip length of 16.5 mm for a good view of the component
• Fixed tip temperature of 412 °C with no calibration
• PTTC 700 series quick change cartridge for the MX-PTZ tweezers
• Supplied as a pair, the keyway prevents misalignment during fitting

Applications

Removal and placement of chip resistors and capacitors, work on SOIC packages, rework on densely populated assemblies and repairs in laboratory, prototyping and small batch production.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridges fit the Metcal MX-PTZ handpiece only and therefore run on the MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. One pair of PTTC-703 cartridges is supplied, the tweezers themselves are not included.
