Soldering tweezer cartridges blade 20.5 mm bent 22°, PTTC 700 series - Metcal PTTC-706

Two terminal parts only come off cleanly when both sides reach soldering temperature at the same moment. The PTTC-706 cartridge pair from the PTTC 700 series equips the MX-PTZ handpiece with blade tips of 20.5 x 0.7 mm and works at a tip temperature of 412 °C.

Applications

Placing, replacing and desoldering medium to wide SOIC and SOP packages on printed circuit boards in repair, prototyping and small series production. Heating from both sides shortens contact time and protects pads and neighbouring components.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Fits the Metcal MX-PTZ tweezer handpiece and therefore the MX series power units. Delivery consists of one pair of PTTC-706 cartridges without handpiece and without power unit.
