SMD soldering tip for QFP 48 on MX series, series 700 / 412 °C - Metcal SMTC-1115

The Metcal SMTC-1115 is an SMTC series SMD soldering tip for the MX rework device series. The tip geometry is matched to soldering and rework of QFP 48 packages; the SmartHeat series 700 regulates the temperature to a constant 412 °C without an external sensor for even joints across all pins.
