Tweezer cartridges blade bent 22° 20.5 x 12.7 mm, PTTC 600 series - Metcal PTTC-606

A chip or SOIC package lifts off in one move with a heated tweezer because both lead sides receive heat at the same time. The PTTC-606 cartridge pair supplies 357 °C for this, a working temperature kept deliberately low for sensitive assemblies, blade-shaped, bent 22° with a 20.5 x 0.7 mm blade face, 12.7 mm tip length and a 22° bend.

Applications

Removing and placing wide SOP packages and pin headers with lead rows of around 20 mm in repair, small-batch production and laboratory work. The low temperature reduces thermal stress on component and board compared with hot air.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Suits the MX-PTZ handpiece on Metcal MX series power units. Delivery covers one pair of PTTC-606 cartridges, handpiece and power unit are not included.
