A chip or SOIC package lifts off in one move with a heated tweezer because both lead sides receive heat at the same time. The PTTC-602 cartridge pair supplies 357 °C for this, a working temperature kept deliberately low for sensitive assemblies, blade-shaped with a 1.1 x 1.3 mm blade face over a 16.5 mm tip length.

Applications
Removing and placing chip components from 0402 to 1206 and small SOIC packages in repair, small-batch production and laboratory work. The low temperature reduces thermal stress on component and board compared with hot air.
