The class G4 Z-Line filter is the first stage in ULT extraction units ASD 160, ASD 200, ACD 160, ACD 200 and WSA-10DG/RS. Its zigzag-pleated media packs a large filter area into a small housing, giving long service life at low pressure drop. It shields the downstream HEPA or adsorption stage.

Coarse dust and flux aerosols would load the main filter within a short time. The G4 Z-Line filter intercepts that fraction first: the Z-shaped pleating gives a far larger flow area than a flat mat, so it lasts longer without noticeably throttling the unit's airflow.

Applications
Routine servicing of solder-fume and gas extraction at manual workstations, in rework areas and at bonding benches. As a wear part the Z-Line filter is replaced far more often than the main or adsorption stage.
