Extraction directly at the soldering iron captures the fume where it forms but needs a high vacuum because of the narrow suction line. The Weller Zero Smog 20T supplies up to 10000 Pa and serves up to 20 FE soldering irons in a central or decentralised installation.

Applications

Central solder fume extraction on production lines with many hand soldering benches, in repair centres and in training workshops. The four castors also allow decentralised use wherever soldering is currently taking place.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Designed for Weller FE soldering irons with integrated extraction. Up to 6 irons connect directly, up to 20 require the 50 pipe system available as an accessory. The extractor is supplied with its filter set, soldering irons and pipe system are ordered separately.

The separation efficiency of 99.95 percent at 0.16 µm is stated to EN 1822.
