Chip resistors, capacitors and small diodes only come off cleanly when both terminations reach temperature together. This Thermaltronics T-series tweezer tip pair does that with 1.78 mm wide chisel faces, and the 14.8 mm tip length keeps parts in recessed board areas accessible.

Applications

Removing and replacing 0402 to 1206 chip parts, MELF components, small tantalum capacitors and two-lead diodes in repair work, prototyping and small batch production. The long reach helps on assemblies with shielding frames or tall electrolytics close by.
