Soldering tip chisel extra large 5.0 mm series T - Thermaltronics TM80CH250

Bus bars, connector tabs and heavy stranded wire absorb so much energy that a standard tip brings the joint up to temperature only slowly, loading the assembly with heat for longer than necessary. With a 5.0 mm face and a 7.5 mm tip length this T series cartridge supplies the contact area and thermal reserve the job needs.

Applications

Tinning and terminating heavy stranded wire and cable lugs, soldering to bus bars and battery terminals, fixing large shielding cans and removing massive through-hole parts.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridge is held in the SHP-T hand piece of the T series and runs on the TMT-5000S-1 and TMT-5000S-2 stations. Delivery is one individually packed TM80CH250 cartridge.
