Automatic soldering tip cleaner with 25 mm brush - Thermaltronics TMT-ASTC100

A sponge drops the tip temperature by several dozen degrees at every wipe and stretches out each work cycle. The Thermaltronics TMT-ASTC100 replaces it with a motor-driven brush of 25 mm diameter that removes oxide and spent solder from the tip dry.

Applications

Tip cleaning in production soldering and rework, wherever the tip temperature has to stay constant between two joints. It pays off particularly in lead-free work, where the higher process temperatures speed up oxide growth on the tip.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

As a standalone bench unit the TMT-ASTC100 works independently of the soldering station and can be used with Thermaltronics handpieces as well as irons from other makers. Supplied as the cleaner with brush fitted plus the plug-in power supply.
