When connection cables are cut to length in a control cabinet, the cut has to stay clean and the hand must not tire. The 95 12 200 cable shears cut copper and aluminium cables up to 20 mm diameter, that is up to 70 mm², and do so with comfort handles made of three ergonomic components.

Electrical installation, control cabinet and plant construction, power supply work and service on cable routes. The shears are not suitable for steel wire, hard drawn copper conductors or wire ropes, which call for bolt cutters or wire rope shears.

Standards and conformity

The manufacturer does not state a tool standard for this product. According to the manufacturer the shears contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply. The comfort handles are not insulated for live working.
