A cable that is crushed while being cut is difficult to strip and terminate afterwards. The 95 11 200 cable shears cut copper and aluminium cables up to 20 mm diameter, that is up to 70 mm² cross-section, cleanly and smoothly, because the twin cutting edge divides the cut into two steps.

Electrical installation, control cabinet and plant construction, power supply work and service on cable routes. The shears are not suitable for steel wire, hard drawn copper conductors and wire ropes, which call for bolt cutters or wire rope shears.

Standards and conformity

The manufacturer does not state a tool standard for this product. According to the manufacturer the shears contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply. The handles are plastic-coated and are not insulated for live working.
