Cable shears with twin cutting edge, dip-insulated VDE 1000 V, cables up to Ø 20 mm, 200 mm - Knipex 95 17 200

Anyone working on existing live installations needs shears with tested insulation and enough leverage. The 95 17 200 cable shears cut copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 20 mm in one-hand operation and carry dip-insulated, VDE tested handles for 1000 V.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, switchgear construction and maintenance, wherever work is carried out on or close to live parts up to 1000 V. According to the manufacturer the shears are not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors.

Standards and conformity

The dip-insulated handles are tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 and approved for work on live parts up to 1000 V AC. According to the manufacturer the shears contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply.
