ESD Kapton polyimide tape 6 mm x 33 m, film 0.06 mm, up to 300 °C

Protecting only a few pins or a narrow row of pads ahead of the solder wave is awkward with wide tape. This dissipative polyimide tape in 6 mm width and 0.06 mm film thickness covers exactly the area required and stays stable up to 300 °C for short periods.

Applications

Masking individual contact surfaces, connector pins and plated holes before wave soldering, protecting gold contacts during rework, fixing fine wires and thermocouples and masking assemblies for painting.

One roll of 6 mm width and 33 m length, core with 76 mm inner diameter, fitting standard hand dispensers. Further widths in this series go up to 25 mm.

The dissipative resistance range is intended for workstations in an EPA according to IEC 61340-5-1.
