Expanded metal filter prestage 270 x 270 x 25 mm for LRA and WSA series 160/200 - ULT 02.0.576

Before solder fume reaches the filter mats, the coarse fraction has to leave the air stream. The ULT expanded metal filter does that job as the prestage in the extraction units of the 160 and 200 series. The knitted metal mesh acts as a condensation and spark protection filter, holds back sticky aerosols that have cooled down in the intake run along with particles, and keeps the following filter stages from clogging early. Size 270 x 270 x 25 mm.

Position in the filter build

In the ULT filter build for solder fume the expanded metal prefilter comes first. The M5/F7 filter mats follow, then the H13A combination filter cassette, whose H13 HEPA filter to DIN EN 1822 reaches a particle separation rate of 99.95 percent.

Applications

Solder fume extraction at hand soldering and rework benches, capture at desoldering stations and any process where coarse particles or sparks can enter the air path alongside the fume.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Fits the ULT extraction units LAS 200, LRA 160, LRA 200, SRA 200, ASD 200 as well as WSA-5LR, WSA-10LR and WSA-20LR. The filter is also part of the filter cassette sets 02.1.520, 02.4.520, 02.1.530 and 02.4.530. One expanded metal filter is supplied, ready to be cleaned in an industrial washer and refitted once loaded.
