Between the capture point and the extraction unit, the ducting decides how much airflow actually arrives. This flexible extraction hose with a diameter of 50 mm comes cut to 2 m and connects an extraction arm, hood or nozzle to the unit. Two metres are enough when the unit stands right next to or underneath the bench and the air path should stay short.
