Soldering station ALE-208VA 150 W with automatic solder feed Ø 0.8 mm and perforation - JBC ALE-208VA

Anyone making the same joint a hundred times loses time guiding the wire and loses quality through varying solder volumes. The ALE-208VA takes over both. It feeds Ø 0.8 mm solder wire at up to 55 mm/s and recovers the temperature within the 90 to 450 °C range after every contact using 150 W.

What the station delivers at production pace

• 150 W of heating power on one channel, so tip temperature stays inside the controlled 90 to 450 °C range even on ground planes and heavy traces.
• Automatic solder feed for Ø 0.8 mm wire at a feed speed of up to 55 mm/s, keeping the solder volume per joint repeatable.
• Solder wire perforation, so flux is released steadily during melting instead of in bursts.
• Three working modes. Continuous, alternating and a programming mode in which speed and length of the dispensed wire are set.
• Connectivity for data transfer, remote access for traceability and software updates.
• Takes solder wire spools up to 2 kg with a maximum height of 100 mm and diameter of 100 mm, so one spool lasts a long shift.

Scope of delivery and compatibility

Delivery covers the station, the GALE08V-A solder wire guide kit with guide wheels already fitted, the ALE250 automatic soldering iron, the ALES iron stand, the P-405 foot switch, the SCH tip holder, the C250403 soldering tip and the PLR195 ESD flat nose pliers. The ALE250 iron works with the complete C250 tip range. Separate guide kits are available for other wire diameters. Solder wire is not included.

ESD and design

The property table lists the station as ESD safe. It runs on 230 V and works with one channel.
