Anyone cutting installation cable all day feels every unnecessary bit of effort in the hand. The StepCut cable shears 95 12 160 cut fine-stranded copper and aluminium multi-core cables up to Ø 15 mm (50 mm²) with up to 40 % less effort than standard cable shears of the same length, and remain a pocket tool at 160 mm and 225 g.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, control cabinet and control system building, field assembly and service work. The short design covers cables up to 50 mm² even in confined spots and in one-handed work. The shears are not suitable for steel wire or hard drawn copper conductors.

Standards and conformity

The manufacturer does not state a product standard for this tool. According to the manufacturer the shears contain no substances of very high concern under REACH, and the RoHS directive does not apply.
