Populated boards must neither touch each other nor shift around while a container is moved. In the RS 100 rack system two slotted walls do the guiding, and this 256 mm profile rail holds a slotted wall pair 400 at their working distance as a crosswise insert, turning a 400 x 300 mm container into a load-bearing rack.

Applications

The rack is used throughout the EPA wherever populated boards wait between two operations or travel inside the plant, for example as a buffer between the SMT line and final assembly, as staged material at the test station or as returns waiting for rework. Because the rack is built from slotted walls and rails, a change of assembly means reconfiguring it instead of stocking a dedicated container for every board size.
