In the RS 180 rack system, slotted walls guide every board in its own groove so that cards do not touch while buffering or in internal transit. At 555 mm the double slotted wall 600 is the long wall of this range and therefore holds more boards per wall. This wall is the reinforced version and is supplied without a base stop.

Application

The wall is used wherever boards are parked between two operations, as a buffer at the placement line, during transport to electrical test and in interim storage ahead of final assembly. Inside the EPA every card stays individually guided, so edges and components do not knock against each other.
