In the RS 180 rack system the rack profile rail takes up the slotted walls and holds them in position inside the container. This rail is 256 mm long, is inserted lengthwise and is intended for containers measuring 400 x 300 mm and for slotted wall 400. At 122 g it adds almost nothing to the load.

Application

The rail goes into the container when a board magazine is built up, before the slotted walls are fitted. It is equally the usual add-on part when an existing container is reconfigured or an additional container is equipped straight away. Use is inside the EPA, in the buffer at the placement line, in transport to test and in interim storage.
