When populated boards are buffered and moved, the holder decides whether two cards end up touching. The slotted wall 300 of the RS 180 rack system takes every board in its own groove and keeps it upright, the outer size is 255 x 22 x 180 mm. This wall is supplied without a base stop.

Application

The wall is used wherever boards wait between two operations, as a buffer at the placement line, for internal transport to test, and for interim storage ahead of final assembly. Inside the EPA every card stays individually guided, so edges and components do not knock against each other.
