SCS ESD shielding and moisture barrier bag, 864 x 813 mm, film thickness 0.178 mm

Moisture-sensitive components and circuit boards face two risks in storage and shipping: absorbed humidity and electrostatic discharge. This moisture barrier bag in 864 x 813 mm covers both. The multilayer film of polyester, aluminium and polyethylene, 0.1778 mm (7 mil) ±10 % thick, has a defined water vapour transmission rate, and the shielding limits the discharge energy that passes through to less than 10 nJ.

Applications

At 864 x 813 mm this bag is sized for large assemblies, equipment modules and complete tray stacks. It serves as a moisture- and discharge-protected cover for bulky goods in storage and transit, for example as an inner liner in a shipping carton. The range is also available in other sizes.
