ESD safety low shoe A 405 XP S3, metal-free penetration resistance - Atlas 12900

Anyone who walks over chips, nails or glass splinters and handles ESD sensitive assemblies in the same shift needs both in one shoe. The A 405 XP combines class S3 penetration resistance with a person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm under the DIN EN 61340-5-1 measuring method. The penetration barrier itself is metal free, a high tech textile containing aramid fibres.

What sets this model apart

• Safety class S3 means a closed heel cap, antistatic build, energy absorbing heel area, water repellent upper, penetration resistant midsole and a cleated outsole. That is the specification for assembly and workshop floors.
• XP penetration resistance in aramid textile, metal free and clearly lighter than a steel insert. It covers the full sole area and still allows the natural torsion of the foot, which a steel plate does not.
• Anatomically shaped steel toe cap to EN ISO 20345:2012, tested at 200 joules impact energy and 15 kN compression. The MPU toe protector takes the abrasion during kneeling work and extends service life.
• MPU INNOFLEX system as the outsole. The INNOFLEX LINE guides force from heel to toe, the CLOUDZONE in the heel absorbs the landing impact, DYNAMIC PLATES in the forefoot return energy into the push off.
• Soft cowhide leather upper with aktiv-X functional lining for permanent moisture regulation. It does not stain and stays abrasion resistant.
• Standard width 10 in the broad, foot friendly ATLAS fit. Slip resistance SRC. Suitable for orthopaedic insoles under DGUV rule 112-191.
