Metal detectors at the gate and an ESD requirement on the line usually rule each other out. The C 6505 XP resolves that, because neither the toe cap nor the penetration barrier contains metal and the person, shoe and floor resistance stays below 100 MOhm under the DIN EN 61340-5-1 measuring method.
What sets this model apart
- Safety class S3 with everything that belongs to it, closed heel cap, antistatic build, energy absorbing heel, water repellent upper, penetration resistant midsole and a cleated outsole. None of these parts is metal.
- C-TEC toe cap in high tech composite. It meets the 200 joules impact energy and 15 kN compression of EN ISO 20345:2012, shifts the centre of gravity towards the middle of the foot and forms no cold bridge over the toes.
- XP penetration resistance in aramid textile, metal free, full area and light. It supports the natural torsion of the foot that a steel midsole blocks.
- CORDURA upper, a nylon fabric with an open air texture. It repels water and dirt, is easy to care for, holds its shape over time and is lighter than leather of the same thickness.
- MPU INNOFLEX system in the outsole with INNOFLEX LINE, CLOUDZONE in the heel and DYNAMIC PLATES in the forefoot. The toe protector is carbon fibre reinforced and takes the abrasion of kneeling work.
- aktiv-X functional lining for permanent moisture regulation, standard width 10, slip resistance SRC, suitable for orthopaedic insoles under DGUV rule 112-191.
