In electronics production it is not the look that decides which shoe is issued, it is the leakage resistance. The SL 26 green is a ventilated S1 safety sandal to EN ISO 20345:2022, ESD compliant to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The alu-tec aluminium cap still withstands the full 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression. Supplied in standard width 10, EU 35 to 49.
What this model delivers on the floor
- The wearer's charge is drained in a controlled way instead of discharging into a component. The shoe is ESD compliant to DIN EN 61340-5-1. For the chain of person, footwear and floor the manufacturer states a resistance below 10 to the power of 8 ohms, that is below 100 megohms. Inside the EPA that means no assembly lost because someone walked from the test bench to the machine.
- S1 in plain words: closed heel area, antistatic build, 20 joules of energy absorption in the heel and a fuel-resistant outsole. The right level for dry indoor areas without the extra weight of a penetration-resistant S3 build.
- An aluminium toe cap instead of steel. The alu-tec cap passes the same EN ISO 20345 test at 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression, weighs less, shifts the centre of gravity towards the middle of the foot and, being thermally neutral, forms no cold bridge inside the shoe. An abrasion-resistant MPU toe guard sits over the cap. During kneeling work the toe of the shoe wears through first, and this guard delays exactly that, raising the service life of the shoe.
- Width 10 is the ATLAS standard width and already cut wider than a common safety shoe last. It fits most of a workforce, which keeps procurement for a whole department simple. Anyone who needs more volume finds the same range in width W12.
- Foot climate instead of a damp sock by the afternoon. The SportLine upper is a textile fabric that is both air-permeable and hydrophobic, so it breathes and repels splashes. Behind it work the aktiv-X functional lining, which moves moisture away and does not stain, and the clima-stream concept with its Klima Komfort insole.
- Cushioning for eight hours on your feet. The MPU INNOFLEX outsole guides force along the INNOFLEX LINE from heel to toe, the CLOUDZONE in the heel absorbs the impact and the large MPU tread areas return the stored energy into the next step. The 3D cushioning system of pressure-relieving insole and responsive MPU works against the load.

Areas of use
Electronics production and test benches inside the EPA, placement and soldering, assembly and order picking, workshop and indoor storage, cleanroom ante-areas and service departments. Wherever dissipative footwear is required and a ventilated class S1 sandal is enough because the floor is dry. Where liquids or chips can hit the shoe from above, a closed low shoe is the better choice.
Standards and conformity
EN ISO 20345:2022, protection class S1, slip resistance SR. The manufacturer lists the article under this edition. ESD compliant in the sense of DIN EN 61340-5-1, the standard for the electrostatic protected area. Personal protective equipment of risk category II under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, CE marked, EU declaration of conformity available from the manufacturer. Approved for orthopaedic insoles under DGUV rule 112-191, the marking inside the shoe is what counts. Made by the ATLAS shoe factory in Dortmund.
