ESD Safety Low Shoe FLASH 2005 XP S1PS, mesh upper, width 10, black/grey - Atlas 43200

A production shoe has to do two things at once. Secure the ESD workstation and still not feel like ballast after eight hours on concrete. The FLASH 2005 XP ESD combines the MPU INNOFLEX sole system, an aluminium toe cap and metal free XP penetration resistance for that. The quiet black and grey works on the shop floor and in a customer meeting alike.

What this model delivers

• Penetration resistance from aramid fabric. XP technology protects against nails and splinters with a high tech textile. Metal free, extremely light and flexible, so the sole follows the natural torsion of the foot instead of blocking it.
• alu-tec cap instead of steel. The aluminium toe cap is tested to EN ISO 20345:2022 at 200 joules impact energy and 15 kN compression while staying lighter than a steel cap. Thermally neutral, so no cold bridge into the shoe.
• MPU INNOFLEX sole system. CLOUDZONE in the heel for impact forces, INNOFLEX LINE to guide the load from heel to toe, MPU tread surfaces for energy return. Slip resistance SR of the 2022 edition requires grip on ceramic tile with detergent and on steel with glycerine.
• ESD equipment for the protected area. On a dissipative floor the wearer's charge drains continuously. That makes the shoe suitable for workstations to DIN EN 61340-5-1, whose protection concept does not work without dissipative footwear.
• S1PS in plain words. Antistatic, closed and energy absorbing heel area, penetration resistance. In the 2022 edition the PS marking stands for the non metallic penetration barrier, tested with the 3 mm nail. No water repellent upper, but the low weight and air permeability that count indoors.
• Climate, cushioning and service life. The mesh upper and the clima-stream concept keep the foot climate in balance, the aktiv-X functional lining regulates moisture. The abrasion resistant MPU toe guard slows wear during kneeling work. Approved for insoles to DGUV Rule 112-191.
