Light S3S low shoe with an alu-tec aluminium toe cap and a metal free XP insert for ESD areas. Atlas guarantees a person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The cap is tested at 200 joules and 15 kN, and the XR nitrile outsole grips wet ground as well.

Anyone on their feet all day feels every gram at the front of the shoe. Instead of steel the FLASH 5265 XP carries an alu-tec aluminium cap that takes the same 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression while weighing less, and it does not form the cold bridge a heavy steel cap creates in winter. For the ESD workplace the figure underneath counts: Atlas guarantees a person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm under the DIN EN 61340-5-1 measuring method.

What sets this model apart

  • Class S3S to EN ISO 20345:2022, meaning a closed heel, antistatic construction, an energy absorbing heel area, resistance to water penetration and absorption, a cleated outsole and a non metallic penetration resistant insert tested with the thin 3.0 mm nail.
  • alu-tec aluminium toe cap tested at 200 joules and 15 kN. An MPU overcap above it absorbs the wear on the toe of the shoe.
  • XP penetration resistance made of aramid textile rather than a steel insert: metal free, light and flexible, so the foot keeps its natural torsion.
  • XR-MPU sole technology with a cleated nitrile outsole and an MPU midsole, direct injected. The GRIP-SEGMENTS hold on wet, muddy and loose ground while the midsole cushions.
  • SportLine upper of air permeable textile fibres together with the moisture regulating aktiv-X lining. The result is a shoe that is still dry after eight hours.
  • Standard width 10 in the broad, foot friendly Atlas fit, released for insoles under DGUV rule 112-191.
