ESD safety low shoe CX 200 women S2, cowhide leather, women's last - Atlas 11200

In electronics manufacturing the shoe decides whether an assembly survives the walk from the store to the line. The CX 200 women drains the wearer's electrostatic charge through sole and floor and keeps the person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm under the DIN EN 61340-5-1 measuring method. That is the figure an ESD protected area calls for, and it works from the first step, not only at the bench.

What sets this model apart

• Safety class S2 means a closed heel area, antistatic construction, an energy absorbing heel and a water repellent upper. That covers dry shop floors with occasional wet spots without the added weight of a penetration resistant midsole.
• Anatomically shaped steel toe cap to EN ISO 20345:2012, tested at 200 joules impact energy and 15 kN compression.
• Built on a women's last rather than a downsized men's form. The ball of the foot runs in standard width 10, which ATLAS deliberately cuts broad and foot friendly.
• MPU sole technology in multi functional polyurethane, a two layer build of abrasion resistant outsole and energy absorbing midsole. Together with the pressure relieving insole this forms the 3D cushioning system for long periods of standing and walking.
• The aktiv-X functional lining regulates moisture permanently, does not stain and stays abrasion resistant. The upper is soft, full quality cowhide leather.
• Slip resistance SRC, tested on ceramic tile with detergent and additionally on steel with glycerine. Released for orthopaedic insoles under DGUV rule 112-191, the marking inside the shoe is decisive.

Placement and assembly in electronics production, test and measuring stations, laboratories, order picking and goods receipt inside ESD protected areas, service work on sensitive assemblies. Where nails, chips or splinters are expected underfoot, specify a penetration resistant model in class S1P or S3 instead.
