ESD safety boot Big Size 840 S3 SRC, waterproof leather, fur lining - Atlas 80900

At size 51 most ranges simply stop, and anyone who still needs an ESD capable winter boot usually ends up with a scaled up standard shoe that fits badly. Atlas produces the Big Size models on a dedicated, properly shaped last. The Big Size 840 covers EU sizes 51 to 53 and still meets the ESD requirement: person, shoe and floor resistance stays below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What sets this model apart

• Dedicated big size last for EU sizes 51 to 53. This is not an upscaled standard shoe but a separate construction, and over an eight hour shift that is what counts.
• Safety class S3 to EN ISO 20345: closed heel section, antistatic build, energy absorbing heel area, water repellent upper, penetration resistant midsole and a cleated outsole. The steel toe cap is tested to 200 joules of impact energy.
• ESD dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1 with a resistance below 100 MOhm. The antistatic band of the shoe standard runs from 10 to the power of 5 ohms (100 kOhm) to 10 to the power of 9 ohms (1000 MOhm), and the ESD shoe stays deliberately below that.
• Waterproof smooth leather from the company's own leather processing, combined with a woven fur lining. The boot is therefore built for cold, yard and open ground, not only for a heated hall.
• Outdoor sole technology with a profiled toe and forefoot area, GRIP-PLATES with a 4.5 mm deep coarse tread, a continuous force line for landing energy and a torsion element for fast lateral movement. On wet or frozen ground the difference to an indoor sole is immediate.
• MPU REBOUND SYSTEM for cushioning, plus the release for orthopaedic insole provision under DGUV rule 112-191 with the marking inside the shoe.

Applications

Maintenance and workshop with ESD requirements, goods receipt, yard and open ground, field service between hall and outdoors, winter service and cold storage areas. For purely dry, climate controlled production areas a light S1 or S2 low shoe is the more economical answer, since the lined boot runs too warm there.
