ESD safety low shoe TX 460 S2 SRC, waterproof leather, width 12 - Atlas 82412

S2 is the class for workplaces that get wet without nails lying in the floor. The TX 460 answers that with Waterproof smooth leather from the company's own leather processing while staying ESD compliant: person, shoe and floor resistance stays below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The wearer's charge drains in a controlled way before it reaches a component.

What sets this model apart

• Safety class S2 to EN ISO 20345: closed heel section, antistatic build, energy absorbing heel area, toe cap tested to 200 joules, and in addition water penetration and water absorption of the upper are tested. S2 does not require a penetration barrier, anyone who needs one moves to an S3 model.
• ESD dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1 with a resistance below 100 MOhm. The antistatic band of the shoe standard EN ISO 20345 runs from 10 to the power of 5 ohms (100 kOhm) to 10 to the power of 9 ohms (1000 MOhm), and the ESD shoe stays deliberately below that.
• Waterproof smooth leather from selected cowhides processed in house. It keeps the foot dry for hours, holds its shape and copes with oil and coolant better than a textile upper.
• MPU INNOFLEX system with four functional zones: flex notches for natural roll off, DYNAMIC PLATES at the forefoot for forward energy, the INNOFLEX LINE as a continuous force line from heel to toe and the CLOUDZONE that catches the impact on landing.
• Steel toe cap with a carbon fibre reinforced toe protector against abrasion during kneeling work, plus the aktiv-X functional lining that regulates moisture actively and permanently, does not stain and resists abrasion.
• Width 12 is the extra wide version from the Atlas multi width system, meant for feet that still find the already broad standard width 10 too tight. Under DGUV rule 112-191 the model is released for orthopaedic insole provision, the marking sits inside the shoe.
